THE ARTIST

BERRi is the new R&B/trap-soul project of Italian singer and songwriter Corrado Beretta. After years in the dance scene, with international hits such as “1 More Time,” “Dreamin’” and “Dire, Fare, Baciare” — released under the alias Mr. Konrad and charting across Italy and Europe — he turned his focus to the genre he has always felt closest to: R&B, blending it with contemporary Italian indie-pop and trap-soul influences.

He began working with producers, lyricists and composers to develop a distinctive sound and vocal identity. A key turning point came with producer Usai, who helped define BERRi’s musical direction and led to his first releases, including a collaboration with Hu, a contestant in the 2022 Sanremo Festival.

BERRi later signed with No Face/Sony Music Columbia, releasing his first three singles. Among them, “Lovers” achieved strong streaming results and marked the beginning of a new artistic chapter, establishing his distinctive voice within the Italian music scene.

Further collaborations followed, including “UP&DOWN” with Milan-based R&B producer Yazee, which explored a more soulful sound, and “Colpa mia, colpa tua,” released in July 2024 and produced by Artu1000000 (Arturo De Biasi), with stronger trap-soul influences.

In September 2024, BERRi released “Tutto di me,” produced by Andrea Iasella at TDLab Studio in Milan. The track fully embraces an R&B sound, allowing his vocal style to take centre stage. Its music video premiered on Sky TG24.
