ABOUT THE SONG
The song explores universal themes such as desire, fear, and regret, using poetic narration and Sicilian symbolism and sounds. Central to the song is the desire to become a mother, a doubtful state that is filled with hesitation and introspection. This strong emotional state contrasts with the artist’s thoughts on the courage needed to make such a life-changing decision.
