THE ARTIST

Giglio, real name Martina Giglio, is a singer-songwriter born in Ciriè, near Turin, in 1995. She has been passionate about music since childhood and began studying singing at the age of 16. Her musical influences range from Ray Charles, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey and Sting to Lucio Battisti, Giorgia and Elisa, while her artistic interests also include urban, Latin music and electronic sounds.

With Occhi d’Argento, Giglio presents an Italian adaptation of Cotovia, with lyrics adapted by Eugenia Martino and production by CALI LOW. The song is an anthem to female resilience, telling a story of courage, forgiveness and the transformation of women. Through Giglio’s interpretation, the track combines an intimate and powerful message with a contemporary sound.
