THE ARTIST

Between the polarity of the beautiful and grotesque from everything that exists we get
to enter the world of Inês Monstro, artistic name of Inês Laranjeira, singer and actress
from Lisbon, Portugal. Owner of a distinct style, she became known to the public at the
age of 16, as a finalist of the singing TV competition “Ídolos”, back in 2009. The
irreverence she carries within from an early age is now reflected in a mature artist with
her own narratives.

WHAT IS THIS?

WELCOME TO POLYGLOT

A four-year project rethinking how European music travels.

ABOUT

POLYGLOT

The European Song Exchange Incubator. Eight partners in seven countries built a model that circulates songs and artists across borders — breaking the hegemony of English and cherishing the diversity of Europe’s smaller languages.
