THE ARTIST

Joana Negrão é cantora, autora e letrista, instrumentista (Gaita-de-Foles, Adufe, Pandeireta Galega) e performer. Tem dedicado os últimos vinte anos da sua vida à Música, nomeadamente à música tradicional portuguesa. Trabalho que foi mais visível através do seu projecto musical Dazkarieh onde foi compositora/letrista, vocalista e instrumentista entre 2006 e 2014 e com quem gravou 5 trabalhos discográficos. Fundou os Seiva, com Vasco Ribeiro Casais, já com 2 albuns gravados. Com Dazkarieh e Seiva já tocou em festivais pelo Munbdo inteiro. Fez um livro de canções dedicado ao público infanto-juvenil chamado Da Seiva à Árvore. Com este livro tem percorrido o país com espectáculos para a infância, deu aulas de expressão musical do pré-escolar ao primeiro ciclo. Em 2020 lança o seu projecto a solo, A Cantadeira, editando o primeiro album em 2024.
