The number of entries rises, just like temperatures, with one final stretch afforded by POLYGLOT. You have over two weeks, until August 16 to submit songs from the project’s participating countries: Catalonia (Spain), Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Portugal and Ukraine.

We have received over 830 songs so far, so with a new deadline the call can easily gather a thousand. Love predominates as a theme across countries, but nature, alcohol, politics and war, and even dogs pop up in the selection. After August 16 an expert jury will review the records, select 10 per each country, as the competition tightens – which tune will represent which land?

POLYGLOT, the European Song Exchange Incubator is still looking for great songs that make it to the final round, to undergo adaptation and start a new life in a new country, and possibly make it to the top of the charts.
